Use of this product indicates end user's acceptance of the following terms and conditions: end user may use the product on a single computer only; end user may make one copy only for the purpose of protecting end user's original disk; end user is prohibited from exporting or re-exporting, directly or indirectly, the contents of this product in contravention of the laws and regulations of the United States or as appropriate other foreign jurisdictions; the end user is prohibited from decompiling or disassembling this product. The end user is prohibited from installing this software on any network.

You are free to display and print for your personal, noncommercial use information contained on this CD. You may not distribute copies of materials found on this product in any form (including by e-mail or other electronic means), without prior written permission from the owner.

Limited Warranty
Tinker's Guild warrants "The Amateur Scientist 20th Century Collection" disk to be free from physical defects for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. If the disk proves defective within 90 days of purchase, return it with proof of purchase to Tinker's Guild. We will ship you a replacement copy at no charge.

Because some of the material on this product describes projects that could be dangerous, the user agrees to hold both Scientific American, Inc. and Tinker's Guild harmless and waive any and all claims against Scientific American, Inc. and Tinker's Guild, their officers, directors, members, employees, attorneys, agents, successors and assigns, resulting from any and all injuries incurred (including, but not limited to, personal injury, loss of life and/or property damage).

In no event will Tinker's Guild or Scientific American, Inc. and their directors, officers, employees or agents be liable to you for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages (including damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, etc.) arising out of the use or inability to use the software even if Tinker's Guild and/or Scientific American, Inc. have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages' the above limitations may not apply to you. The liability of Scientific American, Inc. and/or Tinker's Guild to you for actual damages from any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise), will be limited to $50.

Scientific American, Inc. and Tinker's Guild make no warranties, express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, regarding the software. Scientific American, Inc. does not warrant, guarantee or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the software in terms of its correctness, accuracy, reliability, currentness or otherwise. The entire risk as to the results and performance of the software is assumed by you.
